Come learn the history and basics of Moyozashi sashiko stitching using the running stitch to create patterns with curved and straight lines. This style of stitching is a centuries-old Japanese traditional method for repairing and reinforcing garments. The Sashiko 2 workshop explores a different method from our Intro to Sashiko class and is suitable for beginners and experienced stitchers alike!

Absolute beginners will leave with at least one sashiko sampler suitable for making coasters or patching clothing. Experienced hand stitchers will probably have time to make more. Everyone will go home with ideas for your next project!
