This class is for anyone new to collage as well as those who want to continue to play with papers and learn new techniques. Students will participate in warm-up activities to get ideas flowing, and then will have access to a variety of painted papers, vintage papers, and ephemera to create a collage piece in their own style. There will be instruction on techniques and tools, and inspiration samples will be available, but this is the perfect opportunity to explore florals, landscapes, or abstracts. The sky’s the limit!
A small painting station will also be available for students wanting to create some of their own collage papers using a variety of tools and techniques.
