Calling all creative kids: if you like to make amazing art with lots of different materials, then this is the perfect class for you!
In this class, you'll create a cool paper quilt from paper rectangles. Use watercolor paints to apply different sky backgrounds on each rectangle, use acrylic paints and stamps to create 6 different trees, tie the rectangles together, and attach the quilt to a dowel wrapped with rainbow colored yarn. Everyone will get to create a unique piece of art that they can proudly bring home and hang up.
Audience: kids aged 7-11
Skill level: Beginner

Susan Bevil, creator of Little Artists, is a passionate art educator, mixed media artist, and recent Maine transplant.
A graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology and School of Visual Arts in NYC, she has more than 20 years’ experience teaching her unique and fun “Global Art Adventure” to children ages 4-11 all over the NYC area. She can't wait to share the fun with kids at Handiwork!
