Felted Taxidermy
Felted Taxidermy
Learn to create felted forest friends! Needle felting is the process of tangling wool fibers through repeatedly stabbing them with a small barbed needle. It's productive and cathartic.
In this session, we'll learn basic needle felting skills plus the more advanced techniques of sculpting and layering to create detailed heads and faces. We'll complete the project by securely mounting your work to a wood slice so that your finished piece can be hung on your wall!
