Floating Embroidery

Create a magical “floating” piece of embroidery! In this session, you'll learn to use basic embroidery stitches on tulle in a 6" round embroidery hoop to create a design that appears to be suspended in midair. The lovely finished piece is perfect to brighten up a corner of your home, office, or classroom, or to give as a gift.

You'll leave with new skills and a finished piece plus tips, tricks, and resources for your next project.

Instructor:  

Sarah is a formally trained artist with a BFA from Maine College of Art and a longtime crafter who knows a little bit about a lot of things. Her crafting style is modern, fun takes on traditional techniques. She's a firm believer that you don't have to be an artist to be creative: anyone can have fun being a maker!
