This event is free and open to the public but cash/Venmo donations will be gratefully accepted to benefit Maine Needs.

Session 1:  Words of Encouragement
Saturday, March 29th
2 to 4 PM

During our first session, we'll recycle greeting cards to make Words of Encouragement tags that you can use as gift tags, bookmarks, or random acts of kindness. While we’re creating tags, we’ll brainstorm what kind of art you're interested in and what the group might like to make together on a monthly basis.

No RSVP necessary. Drop in and make something!

Audience: ages 10+

Skill level: all levels

Supplies we'll provide: all tools and materials plus kind, patient instruction

Supplies to bring with you:

  1. Greeting cards you've received (optional)
  2. Your curiosity and willingness to experiment (not optional)

COVID safety precautions:

  • If you're not feeling well for any reason, please stay home
  • Masks are welcome
