Cosmos Slow Stitching Kit

Meet the Cosmos kit! These vivid pink, daisy-like flowers have been known to symbolize balance and harmony for their crisp, even petals, but also ‘joy in love and life’ in the Victorian era! Flowering in gardens across the world for many months of the year, these striking blooms attract bees, butterflies and birds to the garden. A combination of Liberty London fabrics, vintage patterned pink/white fabrics are combined with plenty of specialty pieces to add texture and detail to your piece, like hand dyed sari silk, cheese cloth and vintage lace. The kit includes a lush, creamy linen coloured background to work on and all the threads and fabrics needed to complete these bright, cheery flowers.

You supply sharp scissors, a marking pen, and a glue stick or fabric glue.

Each Wattle&Loop Slow-Stitching Kit combines a carefully curated selection of beautiful vintage and reclaimed textiles, along with some Liberty of London fabric, DMC cotton threads & an embroidery needle. By combining the beautiful textile pieces with slow-stitching & appliqué you can make a truly beautiful textile collage of your own that is completely unique -- while they are similar, no two kits contain exactly the same pieces of fabric!

Beginners will be able to manage this kit with some patience and an interest in learning some new stitches and techniques. You can simply learn as you go. Depending on your level of experience, each kit takes between 5-12 hours to complete.
