Doodle Books 2: getting in the creative habit

Doodle Books 2: getting in the creative habit

Doodling is a great way to relieve stress, move past creative blocks, and have some fun! In this workshop, you'll ease into creating your own doodle sketchbook habit. We'll spark our imaginations with some low-pressure fun drawing and collage prompts to get started filling our pages. This session will use different prompts than we did in February, so if you enjoyed that class, you're welcome to come back for round two. But no prior experience is necessary!

You'll go home with your own jump-started sketchbook and the tools to build a regular doodling practice into your days.

Audience: ages 5-105

Skill level: beginners and beyond

Supplies we'll provide: all tools and materials (sketchbooks, pencils, markers, pens, paper, books) plus kind, patient instruction and inspiration

Supplies to bring with you:

  1. Your curiosity and willingness to experiment
  2. An apron or smock to protect your clothes (optional)

COVID safety precautions:

  • If you are not feeling well or if anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past week, please stay home
