Doodle Books: getting in the creative habit
Doodling is a great way to relieve stress, move past creative blocks, and have some fun! In this workshop, you'll ease into creating your own doodle sketchbook habit. We'll spark our imaginations with some low-pressure fun drawing and collage prompts to get started filling our pages. No prior experience is necessary!
You'll go home with your own jump-started sketchbook and the tools to build a regular doodling practice into your days.
Audience: ages 5-105
Skill level: beginners and beyond
Supplies we'll provide: all tools and materials (sketchbooks, pencils, markers, pens, paper, books) plus kind, patient instruction and inspiration
Supplies to bring with you:
- Your curiosity and willingness to experiment
- An apron or smock to protect your clothes (optional)

Instructor:
Kara is a Maine artist who loves sketch booking, digital art, gouache, and printmaking. When not making art in her house, she can be found designing websites and hanging with her kids.
