Keep going! Knitting next steps
Intermediate knitting skills for right- or left-handers
Now that you can knit and purl, this two-session class will help you take your basic knitting skills to the next level. Topics we'll cover include fixing your knitting mistakes, reading a pattern, increasing and decreasing stitches, knitting in the round, and working with more than one yarn color. You'll also learn about the versatile i-cord and create a simple project.
Between sessions, you're encouraged to practice your knitting and come to the second session with real-life questions and challenges!
After each class, you're welcome to stick around and practice during our Sunday Craft Circle.
Audience: ages 10+
Skill level: Advanced beginner. You're comfortable with knitting and purling and you're ready build on that foundation.
Supplies we'll provide: all tools and materials (yarn, needles) plus kind, patient instruction
Supplies to bring with you: Your curiosity and willingness to experiment

Mary Ann (she/her) is a self-taught lefty knitter who loves a challenge and a good joke. She believes that knitting is fundamentally FUN and laughter should abound!
