Learn to knit (yes you can!)

 Beginner knitting skills for right- or left-handers

In this two-session workshop, you'll learn to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch and cast off. We'll start with the basics and go slowly to create a solid understanding of each technique before moving on to the next one, stressing "muscle memory" to cement proficiency and ensure success. 

After class, you're welcome to stick around and practice during open studio time.

Audience: ages 10+

Skill level: beginners and beyond

Supplies we'll provide: all tools and materials (yarn, needles) plus kind, patient instruction

Supplies to bring with you: Your curiosity and willingness to experiment
